Building types
Most exterior work falls into a few groups. Single-family homes and townhomes need the details buyers look at: brick or stone patterns, trim, garage doors, roof pitch. Multifamily and mixed-use buildings need correct floor counts, balconies, glazing rhythm and street trees. Commercial buildings such as small offices, retail centers and restaurants usually need dusk views with lit signage zones and parking.
We model from your drawings, so the render matches the design you're submitting or selling. If the drawings and the elevations disagree, we ask before guessing.
Site and context
A building looks wrong without its surroundings. We add the lot's grade, driveway, fencing and planting, and neighboring buildings as simple massing unless you need more. We pick plants, trees and light that fit the project's region and season, unless your landscape architect has a plan.
How it runs
- Send drawings, materials and the views you want.
- We return grey-model previews of each camera for approval.
- A first textured draft goes out for your markups.
- We apply changes and deliver the final images.
Final images are delivered as high-resolution JPEG or PNG, sized for print or web as you choose. See the full process.
Questions
Can you render from hand sketches?
For early design work, yes. We'll build simple massing from dimensioned sketches and you can refine from there. For marketing images we need final elevations.
Do you add people and cars?
If you want them. Most builders like a little life in a street view; some architects prefer empty scenes for review. Tell us in the brief.
Have drawings ready? Send plans, elevations or a SketchUp, Revit or Rhino model and tell us how many views you need.
